Lustleigh
- Dartmoor village in the Devon countryside.
Not quite Plymouth,
just past Exeter - Lustleigh on the edge of Dartmoor offers a unique family holiday
experience. Stay in this cottage and find out why our
guests return to this picturesque Dartmoor village again and again.
The village of Lustleigh lies east
of Dartmoor, where open moorland meets the Devon countryside of wooded
hills and fields. The thirteenth century church stands in the centre of
the village and overlooks a cluster of thatched holiday cottages, a community
Village Store, a rural Post Office, the Primrose Cottage Tea Room
and the fifteenth century thatched pub, The Cleave.
A five-minute walk from the centre of Lustleigh,
past the cricket field and over a small clapper bridge, will bring you
to the ancient hamlet of Wreyland, a “village within a village”.
Here there are more exquisite thatched cottages, dating back to the
fourteenth century, and delightful cottage gardens including Dave's
veggie plot. Your entire holiday could be spent within the parish
of Lustleigh the cottage is a great place to relax, unwind and enjoy your
holiday in Dartmoor Devon.
